Read this book front to back the first day I got it. I am new to the hobby, and Kev has a unique way of gaining instant trust. Believe me when I tell you that this book is exactly like his videos, straight forward and too the point. Highly recommend for people new to the hobby like myself. Easy to read, easy to follow, and not a lot of grey area in the instructions. The book doesn’t cost hardly anything, dont be cheap, go purchase it and support the guy who has given us all so much with his channel !!!

Hands down I had the best consultation with Kev aka Kaveman! He is as chill as he is in his videos and I was very comfortable with him and his coaching! I am a newbie and the hour session went by pretty quick since there was so much to go over ! He was very patient with me and even went over step by step of how to do the water testing as I have been doing it wrong lol. Oops! I definitely learned a LOT and I will be scheduling more sessions as I have many questions still! He was so kind and even went a little over time at no charge which was soooo appreciative !

As someone else said he didn't make me feel ridiculous for any questions I had and made me feel better about my fishies. I was about ready to give up! Thanks again and will be definitely look forward to more sessions! :) 10/10 highly recommend !

I guess we don’t know what we don’t know! Saving 1 fish covered the cost of the course. I had 17 now 24 and some fry. Good thing I know how to deal with them best. Every aquarium is different, so understanding the parameters and principles is priceless. Thanks Kev!

Today my husband and I had a one-on-one coaching session with Kevin regarding our fish-in-cycle of our 55g tank and caring for our African cichlids, and it was absolutely phenomenal! Kevin’s expertise, already evident in his many videos and his books was even more apparent from the moment we began our video conference. Not only does Kevin possess a wealth of knowledge about these beautiful fish and how to care for them, but he also has a knack for simplifying complex concepts into easy-to-understand information.

Throughout our call, I learned invaluable tips and tricks for maintaining the health and happiness of my African cichlids. From understanding their specific dietary needs to creating the ideal tank environment, to breaking down the nitrogen cycle, to tank mates. Every aspect of care was covered in detail. What truly impressed me was the personalized approach; Kevin took the time to assess my current setup and tailored his advice to suit our individual circumstances.

Moreover, I felt comfortable asking questions and expressing any concerns I had, and he was patient and supportive in his responses. Great Book !!!
I have read a number of African Cichlid books. Therefore, I was hesitant to labor through another one. However, I have recently watched a few KaveMan Aquatic videos and found them to be very to-the-point and helpful. So I purchased both books. I am glad I did… Very informative, easy to read and understand. They should be on every fish Keeper’s book shelf.

I am new to the hobby and started my first tank (75-gallon African Cichlids). I lost 4 fish and began to panic. Kaveman got me set on the right path in no time at all. As it turns out, I was doing many things right and learning from the things I was doing wrong. Kaveman talked me through every step and simplified things so much. I highly recommend the consultation if you have questions, as he was so informative and supportive. There is no such thing as a stupid question. He is very knowledgeable and a passionate aquarist. Thank you for getting everything straightened out for me.

Right from the get-go I could tell that Kev was knowledgeable about the ins and outs of my particular aquarium setup. I worked fairly diligently to write down my questions ahead of time. Kev was able to answer all of them. And beyond that, he was able to recommend some other products that would be helpful in making my aquarium better and more maintainable. I would tell anyone who gets a little overwhelmed with all the information out there that a coaching session with Kev helps you to see "the forest through the trees"!

Absolutely love it and the size was spot on

I got to a boiling point with my African cichlids after over a year of growing them, and was almost ready to give up on this hobby I love so much. I’m glad I decided to try a coaching session with Kev before I did that as a last resort. He took the time to listen to everything going on with my fish and was genuinely interested in helping me. But not only that, he helped out a lot more by making me realize these are some things we all go through, and there is a way to fix it, just need to be patient and find the issue.

After talking with Kev I felt rejuvenated and refreshed in finding the solution for my fish. It was very reassuring to know the things I was doing right, as well as what I didn’t need to do based on feedback from others. I’ve learned so much this far, surely I can figure out the final problem.

I can already say in one short weekend my fish are already doing a lot better! I still have some more work to do, but just one simple thing made a huge difference which Kevin pointed me to. I’m almost ashamed I didn’t know to try this before. If you’re on the fence about whether you should give Kevin a try or not, do it! He really helped out a lot and it was money very well spent in my opinion.

The E Book was very helpful for me It explained in simple words on how to treat my cloudy 30 gal tank My tank is now crystal clear and ready for fish It was well worth the money TY mf

Great information! Looking forward to using the pot scrubbers! I use chemipure, purigen and ceramic biomedia. I have a red earslider 7" turtle in a 60 gallon breeder aquarium. I also have a fx2. Since I only have 2 trays in the fx2, still trying to figure out what goes where. Chem on top or bottom tray? Please help. By the way, you are an excellent educator, don't stop! I watch ALL your videos. Very intertaining! Patricia
