I've kept freshwater fish before in my younger days, and I've always wondered why my tank doesn't look like the ones in books or pictures. I recently acquired a 39-gallon tank for free with fish, which had given me the itch to get back into it. This ebook has been amazong! I tried all the little tricks Kevin mentions ( poly fill, I've never known) and my tank looks amazing. The wife and kids have noticed the difference and are shocked. Ive been keeping african cichlids since 2016 but have had lots of problems for the last year which really baffled and frustrated me. After reading “keeping african cichlids” it took me back to the basics so to say and in doing so help me realize I had slacked off on alot of things that Im not gona get into but was the cause of all my frustrations. Im not ready to pack it in and get out of the hobby yet tho so thanks so much kev for your knowledge and getting this guy back on track… goes to show never to old to get a refresher
